  We purchased this yarn from our friends at Shuford Yarns in Hickory, NC. They currently operate out of three plants in North Carolina. They offer Open End, Ring Spun, and Air Jet Spinning. We are very thankful that we have access to this domestic spinner of cotton yarn! The organic cotton is grown in Texas. We package dyed the yarn in Valdese, NC.   Fayetteville is inspired by the threads of a baseball. The "baseball" yarn is constructed in our hollow spindle department with nylon in the core and two wraps of black poly. It was originally constructed for the commercial weaving industry, so it would be great for hand weaving, home décor and heavier garments. 86% US Merino Wool/10% Nylon/4% Poly Merino wool is 21.5 micron and from the Rocky Mountain Region.
